RAIPUR: A 22-year-old college student was found hanging from a tree in the fields of a village in the Gariaband district of Chhattisgarh. Shepherds while leaving their fields spotted the body hanging and reported it to the police officials.
The matter was reported in the Fingeshwar police station area.
The deceased was identified as Nand Kishore Sahu (22), a resident of Chandi Belar in Raipur and a graduate student at Hiralal College Abhanpur. At four in the afternoon, while shepherds were leaving for their homes, they saw a body hanging from a tree in the Babukoopi forest in mysterious circumstances.
The family members told the police, that the son had left Raipur to go towards Abhanpur for college on a bike. They are unsure of the reason why he would commit suicide.
No suicide note was found at the spot. The body has been sent for autopsy.
