Congress responsible for corruption, terrorism and naxalism, says Yogi
RAIPUR: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath strongly criticized the Congress party, accusing it of corruption, terrorism, and Naxalism. He emphasized support for the Modi government and urged alignment with the vision of a prosperous and secure India under BJP leadership.
During the nomination rally in the village of Kumarda within the Rajnandgaon parliamentary constituency, Yogi emphasized that Congress has attempted to incite the youth regarding the issues of 'terrorism' and 'extremism'. During the nomination rally of Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha constituency candidate Santosh Pandey, Chief Minister Yogi highlighted the current Lok Sabha elections taking place across the country. He stressed the widespread support for the Modi government. Yogi called upon the people of Chhattisgarh to align with this sentiment, disregarding those who aim to divide society based on 'caste' and other factors.
In light of the recent events in Ayodhya, Yogi emphasized the significant comeback of Lord Ram after a 500-year wait. He attributed this remarkable achievement to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, questioning if Congress could have achieved a similar feat.
Shifting focus to the political scenario, Chief Minister Yogi alleged that Congress engages in widespread corruption whenever in power. Conversely, he lauded the BJP governments, both past and present, for their dedication to uplifting the 'poor', 'backward', and 'tribal' communities.
Yogi strongly criticized the candidacy of former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, accusing him of involvement in numerous corruption scandals. He expressed belief in the voters' dismissal of such individuals and their wrongdoings, stating that 'New India' will not tolerate corruption.
Applauding the determination of the people of Chhattisgarh, Yogi praised their resistance against different injustices, such as 'cow smuggling' and 'appeasement policies'. He reiterated the government's pledge to guarantee the safety and security of all citizens, irrespective of their background.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, Chief Minister Yogi emphasized numerous welfare schemes that benefit millions of Indians, such as free ration distribution, healthcare coverage, and housing initiatives. He restated the government's commitment to expediting the execution of these schemes for the betterment of the 'poor'.
Yogi reiterated the vision of a prosperous and secure India as stated by the BJP, emphasizing the party's commitment to addressing the needs of every citizen. He urged the electorate to grant Prime Minister Modi a third term, affirming that "only the BJP can deliver solutions to the nation's challenges."
With elections scheduled for April 26, Chief Minister Yogi called upon the people to elect Pandey as the representative of PM Modi, ensuring continuity of "strong and decisive leadership" at the national level.
