Salvi emphasised mental clarity amid unpredictable conditions as key for bowlers ahead of RCB’s clash with in-form Kolkata Knight Riders. “Length and clarity at the top of the mark are very important,” he said, urging bowlers to keep plans simple, read wickets quickly, and trust adaptability over reactive tactics.

He praised young pacers’ growth through observation and setbacks, crediting close wins for boosting dressing-room belief. All-rounder Krunal Pandya’s pressure batting fits RCB’s process-driven approach, with focus solely on controllable elements like preparation—no toss or pitch worries.

Against KKR’s batting surge, Salvi prioritises RCB strengths. In high-scoring T20s, simplicity and discipline remain decisive.
