National Academy Award recipient, former music university professor V Nagdas appointed as chairman of National Lalit Kala Akademi

Raipur: Former faculty of Chhattisgarh’s Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya — professor V Nagdas has been appointed as the chairman of the National Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi. Nagdas has received National Academy Award by Central Lalit Kala Akademi in 2000, International Print Biennial, Bharat Bhavan in 2006, Grand Award of AIFACS in 2006 and gold medal of Kerala Lalit Kala Akademi in 1987. He served as a professor, dean of visual arts faculty and head of graphics department, Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya before joining the post.TNN
