2 killed in JSR over suspected extra marital affairs
Jamshedpur: Two separate murders were reported in Jamshedpur over alleged extra-marital affairs late on Tuesday.
In the first incident, 35-year-old Mohan Soren was bludgeoned to death with Pursudih police station limits. Mohan was allagedly assaulted by Raju Murmu, 50, with a cooking vessel and sticks after he found Mohan with his wife at his wife.

“Raju was arrested from his home and sent to jail. An investigation is underway,” Avinash Kumar, the officer-in-charge of Pursudih police station, said.
In a separate incident within the MGM police station limits, 38-year-old Gita Mandal was allegedly beaten to death by her 45-year-old husband, Bapi Mandal. Preliminary police investigation revealed that a violent dispute erupted because the couple mutually suspected each other of having extra-marital affairs.
DSP Patamda Bachan Deo Kujur said, “The argument escalated rapidly following which Bapi attacked his wife with a heavy mortar.” Gita was rescued by family members and taken to Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College and Hospital, where doctors declared her dead. Bapi was arrested from Ulidih on Wednesday.
