Min writes to CM for security at petrol pumps

Ranchi: State disaster management, food and civil supplies minister Irfan Ansari on Friday wrote a letter to chief minister Hemant Soren urging him to order deployment of additional security forces at petrol pumps, mainly in sensitive areas in the wake of sudden surge of customers at fuel bunks.He said that since last few days pumps are under immense stress due to unprecedented crowds in many places across districts and resorting to panic buying. "Therefore, it is imperative to ensure proper security at the pumps to prevent any untoward incidents and clashes," he said.
