Guv confers gold medals to 12 students

Kullu: Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla presided over the 13th convocation of Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni in Solan district, on Sunday. A total of 816 degrees were awarded at the convocation ceremony, where horticulture minister Jagat Singh Negi was present as the chief guest. The governor conferred 12 gold medals to meritorious students on the occasion. He also awarded 119 PhD degrees in horticulture and forestry. 1k students to get degrees at PU convocation today

Over 1,000 students from Patna University will receive their postgraduate degrees at the convocation on Saturday, after a two-year gap. Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar will preside, with Chamu Krishna Shastry delivering the address. A total of 43 toppers, including 30 girls, will be awarded gold medals. Traditional gowns have been replaced by Indian attire.

Girls bag 30 gold medals out of 43 at PU convocation

At Patna University's annual convocation, girls excelled by taking 30 out of 43 gold medals for postgraduate examinations. Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar encouraged graduates to become job providers, emphasizing entrepreneurship. Bharatiya Bhasha Samiti chairman Chamu Krishna Shastry motivated students to work hard and face challenges. The event celebrated 1023 scholars, including 47 PhD graduates.

29 students of PPU to get gold medals

Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar will honour 29 top students of Patliputra University with gold medals at the upcoming convocation on December 16 in Patna. Around 700 students will attend the ceremony, celebrating academic excellence. Students must register by December 10, and adhere to a traditional dress code for the formal event.
