HP power board delegation meets Sukhu

Kullu: A delegation of Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited (HPSEBL), led by convenor, Joint Front of HPSEBL Employees and Engineers, Lokesh Thakur, met CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Sunday to apprise him about the boards’ various issues and demands. The CM assured the delegation that their genuine concerns would be addressed with care and empathy. He said the govt has released an 11% dearness allowance within two years of its tenure and reinstated the Old Pension Scheme to ensure their well-being.

Delegation meets min, seeks relief for villagers

Rajasthan cabinet minister Kirori Lal Meena led a delegation to address tensions in Deoli-Uniara following a violent incident involving bypoll candidate Naresh Meena. The delegation demanded a judicial inquiry, release of those wrongfully arrested, and compensation for affected villagers. They also urged for administrative restructuring and a review of police conduct during the unrest.

186 foreign delegates to attend Eurasian Group meet

Indore is gearing up to host the 41st Plenary Meeting of the Eurasian Group (EAG) from November 25th to 29th. With 186 delegates from 23 countries confirmed, the city administration is diligently arranging transportation, accommodation, and cultural experiences. Volunteers, including Mandarin speakers, will assist the delegates. The itinerary features visits to Mandu Fort and Daly College, showcasing Indore's rich heritage.

Sukhu chairs meet to promote solar energy
