Thakur: No coordination between Sukhu govt and Cong

Shimla: Former chief minister and leader of opposition in Himachal Pradesh assembly Jairam Thakur on Wednesday said there was no coordination between the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu-led Congress govt and the Congress organisation in the hill state.He accused the state govt of bringing “Himachal for Sale” offer as it planned to celebrate two years of its “collapse”.Thakur said the Sukhu-led Congress govt was going to complete two years in office but minister Vikramaditya Singh and Congress state president Pratibha Singh were not aware of it, as per their statements given to the media. Mocking at the “achievements” of the Congress govt, the leader of opposition reminded Sukhu dispensation about the loss in Rajya Sabha election despite the ruling Congress party being in majority. He also highlighted losses for the chief minister, the ministers and the chief parliamentary secretaries in their constituencies in the Lok Sabha elections.Thakur also emphasised the BJP’s gain from 25 to 28 seats in the assembly bypolls, and the Congress stepping back on its pre-poll guarantees. The former CM also accused the Congress govt of taking two steps forward and four steps backward. In this govt, neither pension nor salary is provided on time and now the Sukhu-led govt has crossed the figure of Rs 90,000-crore loan, he said.
