2 booked for cheating textile traders

Surat: Textile trader from Saroli, Kamal Gandhi (34) registered a Rs 46 lakh cheating complaint against two persons, including a broker. The accused had bought goods worth Rs 46 lakh from four traders, including Gandhi in February. But they did not make payment. They even threatened to kill Gandhi after all their excuses failed. Trader from Maharashtra’s Kalyan, Ishwar Sindhi, bought goods worth Rs 23.79 lakh from Gandhi through broker Vinaykumar alias Bablubhai Amarnath Maharana Sindhi who owns Shankar Enterprise in Kalyan. Gandhi learned that the accused also cheated three other traders of Surat of Rs 23.87 lakh and filed a complaint in the Saroli police station. The police booked Ishwar and Vinaykumar for cheating and threatening to kill.tnn
