Four arrested for rape

Surat: Police arrested four persons on Friday who were involved in kidnapping, raping and attempt to murder of a woman in an area under the limits of Chowk Bazaar police station.

Hitesh Solanki and Sunny Nikhare were arrested for their alleged involvement in the crime along with two accused who happened to be minors.

The minors were sent to remand home. The arrested accused had helped main accused Krishna Khonde to kidnap the 26-year-old married woman. They were present when Khonde raped the woman and tried to set her on fire.
