Two held for throwing ink at UBT neta

THANE: The Kalwa police in Thane arrested two women for allegedly throwing ink and manhandling Ayodhya Pol, who is the social media coordinator of the Shiv Sena UBT at a small event in Kalwa on Friday night.

The complainant told the police that she was invited to an event to mark Ahilyabai Holkar's birth anniversary celebrated recently at Kalwa.

The police said that she alleged that the organisers of the event had sent her a banner which carried the pictures of the leaders of Sena (UBT). But when she reached the venue, the banner there had photos of only the local corporator and Pol.
