Vehicles worth Rs 5 lakh stolen in separate cases

: In two separate incidents, vehicles worth Rs 5.30 lakh were stolen by unidentified theives recently.

In the first incident, the victim

(46), was robbed of his car worth Rs lakh in Majiwada. ‘‘The victim had asked his driver to park the car in front of his building. On Sunday, when Pandey looked out of his balcony, he was shocked to find that his car was not there. He then lodged a complaint with the police,’’ said an official from

In the second incident, 28-year-old Swapnil Pawar was robbed of his two-wheeler worth Rs 30,000. Pawar had parked his vehicle outside an IT firm behind Viviana mall on Friday.

When he came the next day, he couldn’t locate the bike. After looking out for it for a while, Pawar lodged a complaint with the Vartak Nagar police.
