5 booked for threatening CSI bishop

Trichy: Five people were booked for threatening the bishop of the CSI Trichy-Thanjavur diocese recentlyThe Woraiyur police registered a case against Sahariya Kirubakaran, Daniel Aruldoss, Aasirvatham, Ashwin and Ranjith based on a complaint from the treasurer of the Trichy-Thanjavur CSI diocesan office S Rajendran of Puthur on Saturday. According to his complaint, the bishop Chandrasekaran received an audio note on his WhatsApp threatening him. The complainant alleged that Kirubakaran had sent the message. He also alleged that Kirubakaran and the four others unlawfully assembled in front of CSI diocesan office with an intention to commit riot on July 6.
