Pocso convict dies in Trichy prison

TRICHY: A 36-year-old man convicted to life imprisonment for sexually assaulting a minor girl died of chest pain at the Trichy Central Prison on Wednesday.

M Surendran Nambi Vayal in Pattukottai developed chest pain at 9.55am on Wednesday. The prison department officials rushed him to MGMGH. Officials said he died on way to the hospital.
