UDAIPUR: Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar along with his family reached Nathdwara in Rajsamand on Tuesday for a short stay. He first came to Udaipur airport by a special flight and left for Abu Road by a helicopter.

After a brief stay in Abu Road, Dhankhar reached Nathdwara by helicopter. He was received by assembly speaker C P Joshi, minister Udaylal Anjana and top officials of the administration.

From Ganesh Tekri helipad, Dhankhar along with his family went directly to visit the Lord Shrinathji temple in Nathdwara. After worship at Nathdwara temple, he went to visit the Tattpadam park which is the place for the world's tallest Shiva statue named "Vishwas Swaroopam" or statue of Belief.

The 369-feet tall statue which is the country's tallest statue of Lord Shiva will be inaugurated on October 29 and is developed by the Miraj group

During the visit to the statue, the vice president in his remark said that it is a matter of pride to come to Shrinathji and witness this magnificent Shiva statue. He said that in the times to come this place will be very special and important for Nathdwara. After a brief halt, he left for Dabok Airport to return to Delhi.
