14-yr-old drowns in canal

Vadodara: The body of a 14-year-old boy who drowned in Chhani on Friday night surfaced in canal at Bhimpura village of Vadodara taluka on Saturday. Pratham Limbachiya's body was spotted by locals who informed Vadodara police. Limbachiya, a resident of Navayard , had gone to bathe in the canal with three others when they fell into it in Chhani. While Sachin Reddy, Mihir Parmar and Jigar Parmar were rescued by fire fighters, Pratham Limbachiya's whereabouts remained unknown until today.

Fatehgunj police said the teenagers went to bathe in the canal at around 5.30pm. TNN"The children were between 14 and 16 years of age. Three of them were rescued after locals informed police control room who directed the call to the fire brigade," said an official from Fatehgunj police station.
