CA exam results declared

Vadodara: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on Wednesday declared the results of the chartered accountancy intermediate and foundation examinations. The CA Intermediate or CA Inter exam was held in May, while the CA Foundation level exam took place in Sep. In CA Inter, of 454 students in Group 1, 52 cleared passed, for a 11.45% success rate. In Group 2, of 240 students, 47 or 19.58% passed. Of the 201 students who took the exam in both groups, five passed, resulting in a 2.49% pass rate. Chhaya Ranchhod Chotaliya topped the city in both groups with 303 marks, followed by Nand Patel and Sagar Joshi, who secured second and third ranks in the city with 301 and 300 marks respectively. At the Foundation level, 511 candidates took the exam of whom 125 passed, resulting in a 24.46% pass rate. The Vadodara branch of the Western India Chartered Accountants Students Association felicitated the toppers and candidates who cleared their exams from Vadodara.
