The recovered mobile phones were handed over to the rightful owners by Chittoor SP Tushar Dudi at Chittoor on Wednesday. The SP said police have so far recovered 4,600-plus stolen/lost mobile phones worth Rs 14.5 cr in the first 14 phases. He appealed to the people to reach out to the police through the CEIR (Central Equipment Identity Register) portal in case of lost or stolen mobile phones.
