Designtech founder dismisses CID charges

Vijayawada: In an interesting turn of events, the founder chairman of Designtech company, Vikas Khanvelkar, a co-accused in Skill Development Scam case, released a video on Tuesday explaining what has happened in the skill development project. Denying all the allegations being levelled against them and on the project, he said that it was one of the cleanest projects they have executed in a most professional manner.Khanvelkar said that they have put in so much hard work in setting up of six centres of excellence and 36 technical centres. Anyone can visit these centres and verify how much the equipment cost, he said.“We have all the invoices and records from all the vendors and the details of the equipment and services provided. We have given all the details to the investigation agencies, but false allegations are being made”, he said. Khanvelkar said that he has never met Chandrababu Naidu. “We have not given money to anybody either in the present government or in the previous government. We do not even make any cash payments,” he said. TNN
