As per the tentative schedule, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled to reach Tirupati in a special flight and will reach Tirumala by road. After an overnight halt at a guest house on the hills, he is set to worship at the iconic Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple on Saturday morning.

With tensions flaring up ahead of Jagan's visit amidst the ongoing laddu-ghee adulteration row and the declaration for non-Hindus row, the Tirupati district police wing enforced section 30 of the police Act. They have served notices to several YSRCP leaders, including Tirupati MP Dr M Gurumoorthy and former TTD chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, on Friday morning, directing them to co-operate with the police and not to indulge in any activities that might lead to unrest.

While both Bhumana and Gurumoorthy found fault with the action of the Tirupati district police wing, according to reliable sources, notices are likely to be served to the former CM as well, to not defy the prohibitory orders in vogue in the temple city of Tirupati.

Sources in the police department stated that the district police wing might serve notices to Jagan upon his arrival at the Tirupati airport this evening.
