has advised parents and teachers to encourage children to take part in such competitions right from the childhood. He said that participating in such tests will surely help them take on bigger competitive tests in the future. District collector inaugurated the III-state level UCMAS competitions here on Sunday. UCMAS state chairman Dr Srinivasa Reddy chaired the session.


Speaking on the occasion, district collector said that UCMAS would help stimulate children's brain activity and make them learn mathematics with ease. MLC professor

said that solving the mathematical equations is the key for success in all the competitive examinations including banking, railways and other boards. He said that the students trained in UCMAS and abacus would feel it easy to crack the mathematical mystery in such competitive examinations. He said that training in UCMAS would also help improve the concentration among the students.

ITC general manager Venkatram Reddy said that taking part in more competitive tests would hone the skills of the children. He appreciated the students who turned up to appear the competition from across the state. UCMAS chief executive officer Snehal said that over three billion students are being trained with UCMAS across the globe.
