YSRCP finds fault with Sharmila for her Cong’s innings

Vijayawada: YSR Congress is taking strong objection to APCC president Y S Sharmila coming to Andhra Pradesh.
The party leaders say that she had started a political party in Telangana and promised the people of the state that she would remain in Telangana.
The leaders also say that she had promised to contest the elections in Telangana.
“She neither stayed in Telangana nor contested the elections,” said YSRCP general secretary and state government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy. He said that she is now promising the people of Andhra Pradesh that she would fight the elections here.
Sajjala said that Sharmila had voted in the Telangana general elections and is doing politics in Andhra Pradesh. The opposition leaders in the state live and vote in Telangana and do politics in Andhra Pradesh, he said. He took strong exception to Sharmila coming to Andhra Pradesh and making similar promises that she had made for the people of Telangana.
Sajjala said that Jagan Mohan Reddy had proved himself as the political heir of the late Dr Rajasekhar Reddy and there would be nothing for Sharmila to prove it again. He said that people would not accept her or take her seriously if she claims to be the daughter of Dr Rajasekhar Reddy.
He said that Jagan Mohan Reddy had never compromised on the state’s interests or the interests of the people. “We have been fighting for the special category status despite the Centre saying no. We are raising the issue at every platform,” Sajjala asserted.
The YSRCP leaders also are taking strong exception to her remarks against Jagan Mohan Reddy and wondered how she could criticise her brother. Senior leaders observed that she had joined Congress which had sent her brother to jail and troubled the family.
They also found fault with her for becoming Congress leader in Andhra Pradesh as there would be nothing for her to do in the state.
“She had come to Andhra Pradesh to serve the interests of Chandrababu Naidu and nothing else,” said a social media activist. He said that it was a hasty decision by Sharmila to join the Congress and come to Andhra Pradesh.
