, said plans are afoot to establish three
tiger safaris
in the state.
Mallikarjuna Rao said in
Srikakulam
on Wednesday that the three safaris will come up in Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry and
Kurnool
districts.
Mallikarjuna Rao added that a marine park would be established in Vizag city adajacent to
Sagar Nagar
on 36 acres. The zoo park would also be modernised as part of the drive, he added. Regarding another major project being taken up in north-coastal AP, Mallikarjuna Rao said 15 eco-tourism parks would be established in Srikakulam bringing together
Telineelapuram
and all the major temples in the district.
