VISAKHAPATNAM: A low pressure is likely to form over Southeast Bay of Bengal on November 23. Thereafter it is likely to continue to move west-northwestwards and intensify into a depression over southwest Bay of Bengal during subsequent two days.

Under the influence of the low pressure system, moderate to heavy rains with isolated very heavy rains likely to occur over south coastal Andhra Pradesh (Nellore and Prakasam) and Rayalaseema(Tirupati, Annamayya, Chittoor Sri Satya Sai, Anantapur, and, YSR Kadapa) and light to moderate rains likely over remaining parts of AP during Nov 26 to 29.

Light to moderate rains are likely to continue over south coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema till December 1.

The IMD appealed to the farmers to take precautionary measures and especially crops ready for harvesting may be harvested before November 25.
