Man strangles wife suspecting her fidelity

VISAKHAPATNAM: Suspecting his wife's fidelity, a man strangled her at Nakkavanipalem locality under MVP colony police station limits in Vizag city. The victim woman was identified as Ch Salomi (28), a native of Sileru in ASR district and the accused is Daniel, a native of Kakinada.

Police said that Daniel married his girlfriend Salomi a few years ago and the couple has two sons. Salomi was an employee at a hotel in Vizag city and Daniel works at a church in the city. They lived in a rented house at Nakkavanipalem.

Recently, Daniel started suspecting his wife's fidelity and often quarrelled with her. The elders of both the families counselled the couple to sort out the issue.

On Saturday night, Daniel had a heated argument with his wife and later he strangled her to death and fled to Kakinada along with children. Salomi's relatives found her body on Sunday.
