Continuous holidays and Christmas witnessed a heavy flow of tourists to Araku, Paderu, Lammasingi, and other spots. Tribal pockets experienced shivering cold conditions with temperatures dipping to single digits. Tourists flocked to Cheruvulavenam, Vanjangi konda, Modaapalli coffee plantation, and other attractions. Poor visibility and darkness forced people to switch on headlights. All hotels and lodges were jam-packed with tourists, but facilities were lacking. Lammasingi became a campfire competition ground with tents and campfires at every place. Around 4000 people visited waterfalls and Borra caves.
