The TTD trust board floated Srivani Trust in 2019 to propagate tenets of Hindu Sanathana Dharma and glory of Lord Venkateswara by constructing new temples across all Indian states.

According to TTD executive officer AV Dharma Reddy, more than nine lakh devotees together have donated Rs 880 crore since 2019.

Dharma Reddy said the temple trust offers financial aid for renovation of ancient temples and for construction of new temples as per the guidelines of the Srivani Trust.

Addressing pilgrim callers during the monthly 'Dial your EO' programme held at Tirumala on Sunday, Dharma Reddy appealed to devotees not to fall prey to "misleading propaganda" against the functioning of Srivani Trust.

The EO also said that luggage collection and delivery system along Alipiri pedestrian route was streamlined about a month ago and was yielding great results. He added the temple trust will soon replicate the system along Srivari mettu pedestrian route too for the convenience of devotees.
