VISAKHAPATNAM: Union minister of state for tribal affairs, Renuka Singh Saruta, visited the Tribal Culture, Research and Training Mission (TCRTM) office in Visakhapatnam on Friday.
Executive director Chinna Babu explained the activities and achievements of the TCRTM to the minister, including its research and evaluation studies, construction progress of the tribal freedom fighters’ museum in Tajangi, training programmes, and budget.
Renuka Singh said that Andhra Pradesh is doing well and is actively involved in the activities of the ministry.
She also expressed her happiness over the TCRTM successfully organising Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav activities to commemorate the sacrifices of tribal freedom fighters.
