Examination reforms and structural changes
The 2026 intermediate examinations introduced several academic reforms aimed at improving learning outcomes and aligning the syllabus with competitive exams like JEE and NEET. Subjects such as Mathematics 1A and 1B were merged, along with Botany and Zoology, to reduce duplication and streamline the curriculum.
One-mark objective questions were also introduced in key subjects to strengthen conceptual clarity and analytical skills among students. Additionally, first-year candidates were given a 32-page answer booklet, while second-year students received a 24-page booklet to standardize evaluation practices across the board.
Evaluation process and marks memo details
The provisional marks memo includes subject-wise scores, total marks, grades, and qualifying status. Students must carefully verify all details after downloading their results. This digital memo will serve as a valid document for college admissions until original certificates are issued through institutions.
Students who are dissatisfied with their marks can apply for recounting by paying Rs 100 per subject. Those who do not qualify will be eligible for supplementary examinations, while improvement exams will be available for score enhancement.
Digital access and result distribution channels
Students can check their results online at resultsbie.ap.gov.in. Results can also be accessed by sending a “Hi” message to the Mana Mitra WhatsApp number at 9552300009.
The board has strengthened digital access systems to manage high traffic. Results are available on official platforms, but due to heavy load, students may experience delays and are advised to use alternative channels if required.
