Application process and key datesAccording to the official schedule, the notification and information bulletin were published on June 5, 2026. Candidates can submit their applications online through the designated portals until July 5, 2026. The application process includes fee payment through the payment gateway and online submission of forms.
An online mock test facility will be made available from July 15, 2026. Hall tickets can be downloaded from July 25, 2026 onwards through the official website.
The AP TET 2026 examination will be conducted from August 5 to August 21, 2026. Tests will be held in two sessions each day. Session I is scheduled from 9.30 am to 12 noon, while Session II will be conducted from 2.30 pm to 5.00 pm.
Examination structure and eligibilityAP TET serves as the eligibility test for candidates aspiring to teach at different school levels. Paper I is intended for candidates seeking teaching positions in primary classes, covering Classes 1 to 5. Paper II is meant for candidates aiming to teach upper primary classes, covering Classes 6 to 8.
The examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test mode. Each paper will have a duration of 150 minutes. The application fee is Rs 750 per paper.
Answer key and result scheduleThe initial answer key is scheduled for release on August 24, 2026. Candidates will be allowed to submit objections from August 25 to August 31, 2026.
After reviewing objections, authorities will publish the final answer key on September 8, 2026. The AP TET 2026 results are scheduled to be declared on September 15, 2026.
