Bank of Maharashtra apprentice recruitment 2026: Notification out for 600 posts, registration to begin on January 15
The Bank of Maharashtra has opened online applications for 600 apprentice posts under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. This programme is designed for graduates to gain practical experience in banking operations and processes. Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 9,000 during their one-year training period. The apprenticeship provides exposure to different banking activities, including customer service, accounting, and branch management, but it does not guarantee permanent employment in the bank.
The bank has emphasised that candidates must meet educational and age requirements, as well as be proficient in the local language of the state where they are assigned. Interested candidates should complete the online application process on the official Bank of Maharashtra website before the last date to avoid last-minute issues. Applications with incomplete documents or incorrect information are liable to be rejected.
Candidates who have previously completed an apprenticeship or have more than one year of work experience are not eligible for this programme. This ensures that fresh graduates or early-career candidates receive maximum learning opportunities during their apprenticeship.
The application fee is Rs 1,180 for General/OBC/EWS candidates and Rs 118 for SC/ST/PwBD candidates, inclusive of GST. The fee is non-refundable. Candidates are advised to check all details carefully before submitting the application to avoid errors.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for updates, including notifications related to document verification, training schedules, and other announcements. The Bank of Maharashtra apprenticeship programme is a valuable opportunity for graduates to understand the workings of a public sector bank while earning a stipend.
