BSE Odisha Class 10 result: The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha has announced the Class 10 examination results for 2026, bringing closure for more than 5.36 lakh students who appeared for the High School Certificate examinations. The result was declared during the official press briefing, followed by activation of digital marksheet access later in the evening.

A total of 5,44,670 students registered, out of which 5,36,306 appeared for the examinations conducted across 3,082 centres in Odisha. The examinations were held from February 19 to March 2, 2026.

The Odisha Class 10 examinations remain one of the largest school-level assessments in the state. This year, 5,36,306 students appeared, reflecting steady participation across districts.

The exams were conducted at 3,082 centres across Odisha, covering urban and rural regions. The number of absentees stood at 8,364, according to official records released by the board.

The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha has confirmed that 5,19,251 students have passed the examination, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 95.33 per cent.

The result announcement also included detailed academic performance data, highlighting distribution across multiple grade categories and academic bands.

Grade-wise performance distribution
The grade-wise performance in the Odisha Class 10 results 2026 is as follows:

• A1 (90–100%): 2,456 students
• A2 (80–89%): 15,681 students
• B1 (70–79%): 43,565 students
• B2 (60–69%): 86,103 students
• C (50–59%): 1,29,813 students
• D (40–49%): 1,46,152 students
• E (33–39%): 95,481 students

Additionally, 3,310 students have secured 100 per cent marks, marking top performance in the examination.

Passing criteria and qualification rules
To qualify in the Odisha Class 10 examinations, students must secure at least 33 per cent marks in aggregate and a minimum of 30 per cent in each subject.

Students who do not meet the criteria will be eligible for supplementary examinations. The board will announce the supplementary schedule separately. Schools will be able to download the tabulation register after 7 pm for administrative and supplementary-related processes.

Marksheet and verification process
The online marksheets released after the result announcement are provisional in nature. Students will receive original certificates later through their respective schools.

The marksheet includes student name, roll number, subject-wise marks, total marks, grade or division, and qualifying status. Students are advised to verify all details carefully and report discrepancies to school authorities.

Previous academic cycle comparison
In 2025, the Odisha Class 10 examinations recorded a 94.69 per cent pass rate, with over 5.10 lakh students appearing. In 2024, the pass percentage stood at 96.07 per cent.

These figures reflect stable performance trends in the Odisha board examination system across recent years.

Availability of results across platforms
The results have been made available on official websites, where students can check their scores using roll number credentials. SMS services have also been activated for students without internet access.
