CBSE 12th Result 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Class 12 Result 2026 on its official portals. Students can now access their scorecards through the CBSE website, DigiLocker, UMANG and the National Informatics Centre portals. The CBSE Class 12 board examinations for 2026 were conducted from February 17 to April 10, 2026. This year, the board introduced the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system for digital evaluation of answer sheets. CBSE stated that the digital evaluation process was implemented to reduce errors related to totalling and uploading of marks while improving transparency and speeding up result preparation. Previous result trends indicate May announcementThe CBSE Class 12 results have consistently been declared in May in recent years. Although the CBSE Class 10 Result 2026 was announced earlier on April 15, 2026 due to the second phase of Class 10 examinations scheduled in May, the Class 12 declaration has continued to follow the regular May pattern.CBSE Controller of Examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj had earlier told PTI that the Class 12 results were expected in the third week of May 2026. He had also stated that the evaluation process under the newly introduced On-Screen Marking system was progressing smoothly.DigiLocker and UMANG updates increase anticipationRecent activity on DigiLocker and the UMANG application has further intensified expectations regarding the result declaration timeline. DigiLocker earlier displayed the “CBSE Board Result - 2026 | Class XII Results coming soon!” banner, while the UMANG application posted on X, “The wait is almost over.
