The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has declared the Class 12 board examination results for 2026, at cg.results.nic.in. A total of 2,38,626 students registered and appeared. Of these, 1,01,184 were boys and 1,37,442 were girls, indicating a higher female participation in the examination cycle.
The overall pass percentage stood at 81.87%, showing a marginal yet notable improvement of approximately 1.17 percentage points compared to the previous year. Alongside the result announcement, the board has released the list of top performers, highlighting exceptional academic achievement across schools. The merit list reflects minimal differences in marks among top rankers, indicating intense competition at the highest level. Jigyasu Verma secured the top position in the examination with 493 marks (98.60%), emerging as the state topper from Baloda Bazar. Omni followed in second place with 491 marks (98.20%) from Bemetara district, while Krish Mahant clinched the third rank with 489 marks (97.80%) from Raigarh. The fourth position was jointly held by Riya Sahu and Shahnaj Parveen, both scoring 488 marks (97.60%), representing Durg and Mahasamund districts respectively.
