CSIR UGC NET 2026 registration begins for June session: Check key dates, direct link to apply
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration process for the Joint CSIR UGC NET June 2026 session. Eligible candidates can now apply for the examination through the official website, whixh is, csirnet.nta.nic.in.
The Joint CSIR UGC NET June 2026 examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam is held to determine the eligibility of Indian candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as Assistant Professor, admission to PhD programmes, or both in universities and colleges across the country.
Candidates can submit their forms till June 19, 2026, up to 11:50 PM. The last date to pay the examination fee is June 20, 2026.

The examination will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will take place from 9 AM to 12 Noon, while the second shift will be held from 3 PM to 6 PM. The duration of the exam will be three hours.
