FSSAI recruitment 2026: Registration begins for Group A and C posts; check eligibility, direct link to apply
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has started the online application process for recruitment to various Group A and Group C posts on a deputation basis, including short-term contract appointments.

Joint Director:
Candidates should be officers serving under the Central Government, State Governments, Union Territories, government universities, recognised research institutions, public sector undertakings, statutory bodies or autonomous organisations.
Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree from a recognised institution. Candidates with qualifications such as Master of Business Administration (MBA), Law, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Public Health, Life Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, Agriculture or related fields may also be eligible as per the detailed notification.
Manager (Information Technology):Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), or a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. They should also meet the required service conditions mentioned in the notification.
Junior Assistant Grade-II:Applicants should have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board. Relevant experience in office work, diary and dispatch handling, and computer typing is desirable.
The maximum age for appointment on deputation is 56 years as on the last date of submission of online applications.
The appointments will be made on deputation or foreign service terms. The initial tenure may be one, two or three years depending on the post and can be extended further based on organisational requirements and government guidelines.
