The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has declared the GSEB HSC Result 2026 today at 10:00 AM, as per the official notification issued earlier for students across the state. The announcement covers multiple examinations conducted during the February–March session.

The results include Class 12 Science, General, Vocational, Higher Secondary U.B. Stream, Sanskrit Madhyama, and GUJCET 2026. Students can access their scores online using their seat number on the official website, gseb.org, as well as through the board’s WhatsApp service.

Scale of examinations and evaluation process
The 2026 board examinations were conducted from February 26 to March 18, with Class 12 exams held in the afternoon session across various centres in Gujarat. These exams covered a wide range of academic and vocational streams under the HSC framework.

This year, over 15.28 lakh students registered for SSC and HSC examinations combined. The evaluation process involved more than 75,000 teachers across 454 centres, ensuring timely completion of answer sheet assessment. The board confirmed that evaluation and verification processes were completed ahead of the result declaration.

Streams included in the result announcement
The May 4 result announcement includes multiple streams simultaneously. These comprise Class 12 Science and General streams, which account for the majority of candidates, along with Vocational and U.B. streams catering to specialised academic tracks.

Additionally, the Sanskrit Madhyama results have been declared as per schedule. The inclusion of GUJCET 2026 alongside HSC results is particularly important, as both play a key role in determining eligibility for professional courses in Gujarat.

Previous year performance trends
In 2025, GSEB declared HSC Science and General stream results on May 5, followed by the SSC result on May 8. The SSC pass percentage stood at 83.08%.

For HSC, the Science stream recorded a pass percentage of 83.51%, while the General stream achieved 93.7%. These figures indicate a consistent trend, with the General stream typically outperforming the Science stream.

Significance of the combined result
The simultaneous declaration of HSC and GUJCET results enables students to proceed smoothly with admission processes. For courses such as engineering and pharmacy in Gujarat, both board exam scores and GUJCET marks are considered for merit-based admissions.
