The India Post will soon release the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Result 2026 for candidates who applied for Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM), and Dak Sevak posts. The result will be published in the form of circle-wise merit lists. Candidates will be able to download the PDF files for their respective postal circles and check their selection status. The recruitment process does not include a written examination.
Shortlisting is based on Class 10 marks as per the rules laid down in the notification. Applicants are advised to check only the official portals of the postal department to avoid misinformation and rely on verified updates regarding the release of the merit list.
Candidates can check the GDS result on the official recruitment portal of India Post GDS Online Engagement, indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. Apart from this, candidates can also visit the main website of India Post, indiapost.gov.in, for official announcements and links related to recruitment. It is important to ensure that the website address ends with “.gov.in” before accessing any result link.
The GDS result will be released as separate PDFs for each postal circle. Candidates must select their state or circle to download the relevant list. The merit list will contain the candidate’s name, registration number, category, and post details.
