Karnataka SSLC Result Date 2024: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) is gearing up to unveil the much-awaited results for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations by the first week of May, according to reports from media outlets. As the evaluation process is yet to commence, an official from KSEAB shared this information during the announcement of the Class 12 Pre-University Certificate (PUC 2) results today.

Students who appeared for the class 10 board examinations can check and download their results swiftly upon release through the official websites — kseeb.kar.nic.in and karresults.nic.in.

Last year's Class 10 board exams were conducted from March 31 to June 19, with the results declared on May 8. In the preceding academic year of 2022, examinations took place from March 28 to April 11, and the results were disclosed on May 19.

During the academic year of 2022-23, Karnataka witnessed a pass percentage of 83% in the SSLC examination, indicating a slight decline from the previous year's 85%. Consistent with past trends, female students continued to outperform their male counterparts, achieving a remarkable pass percentage of 87%, while male students secured 80%.

In the preceding academic year, a total of 8,35,102 students appeared for the SSLC examinations, out of which 7,00,619 emerged successful. Notably, Chitradurga district emerged as the top-performing district in Karnataka, boasting an impressive pass percentage of 96.8%. Following closely were Mandya (96.7%) and Hassan (96.6%). Conversely, districts such as Yagir (75.49%), Bidar (78.73%), and Bengaluru South (78.95%) reported relatively lower pass percentages. Authorities have underscored the importance of investigating the underlying reasons for the lower performance in Bengaluru South and have pledged to implement appropriate interventions to address the issue.
