The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released (direct link) the NEET UG 2026 admit card on April 26 through the official examination portal, enabling registered candidates to access their hall tickets ahead of the May 3 medical entrance examination.
With exam city slips already released, candidates can now check their allotted examination centre, reporting schedule and personal credentials printed on the admit card. The hall ticket is mandatory for entry and is available only through online login.
Steps to download admit card online
Candidates can access the admit card by visiting neet.nta.nic.in and opening the link marked for NEET UG 2026 admit card under candidate activity.
After clicking the link, candidates need to enter their application number and password or date of birth, followed by the security pin displayed on screen. Once submitted, the admit card can be downloaded in PDF form.
Candidates have been advised to print the hall ticket on an A4 sheet and retain multiple copies for examination and admission use.
What candidates should check after download
After downloading, candidates should verify their name, roll number, photograph, examination centre details, reporting time, paper medium and category particulars.
Any discrepancy in details must be checked immediately before the examination date. Candidates should also ensure they carry the same passport-size photographs as used in the application form along with valid photo identification.
How to download NEET UG 2026 admit card & check exam centre details
- Visit the official website: Go to the official NEET website at neet.nta.nic.in using a secure internet connection and a reliable browser, ensuring that you access only the authentic portal released by the National Testing Agency.
- Click on the admit card link: On the homepage, find and click on the link titled “NEET UG 2026 admit card” under the candidate activity section, which will redirect you to the login window for accessing your hall ticket.
- Enter login details: Carefully enter your application number along with your password or date of birth, and then type the security pin exactly as shown on the screen to proceed without any login errors.
- View the admit card: Once you submit the details, your admit card will be displayed on the screen. Take time to thoroughly check all the information mentioned, including your name, roll number, photograph, exam centre address, reporting time, and other important instructions.
- Download and print: Download the admit card in PDF format and take a clear printout on an A4-size sheet. It is advisable to keep multiple printed copies safely for use on the examination day as well as during the admission process.
Examination instructions and prohibited items
Candidates must use only the pen provided at the centre for marking responses on the OMR sheet. Overwriting or use of correction fluid is not permitted.
Electronic devices, watches, calculators, papers, handbags, food items and metallic objects are barred inside the examination hall. Light clothing is permitted under the prescribed dress code.
NTA has also warned candidates against relying on fake websites or unverified links and advised aspirants to use only official portals for admit card access and examination information.
