RBSE Class 5th, 8th Result 2026 Live Updates: The Rajasthan Board has declared the Class 5 and Class 8 results 2026 today, March 24, following completion of the evaluation process. The results have been released online, bringing an end to the wait for lakhs of students across the state.More than 26 lakh students who appeared for the examinations can now access their scorecards through official portals. The results include detailed performance data, with both classes recording pass percentages above 97 per cent this year.Where to check RBSE resultsStudents can check their results on rajshaladarpan.rajasthan.gov.in and rajpsp.nic.in. These portals are managed by the Rajasthan School Education Department and host the scorecards.To access the result, students must enter their class, roll number, district, application number or school NIC-SD code or PSP code, along with the captcha displayed on the login page.Steps to download the scorecardStudents can visit the official website and click on the relevant Class 5 or Class 8 result link. After entering the required credentials, they can submit the details to view and download their scorecard.The online marksheet includes the student’s name, roll number, subject-wise marks, total score and pass status. It serves as a provisional document for immediate reference.Class 5 and Class 8 performance detailsIn Class 5, a total of 13,68,947 students appeared for the examination, out of which 13,23,936 have passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 97.75 per cent. Girls recorded a pass percentage of 97.94 per cent, while boys stood at 97.59 per cent. A total of 30,640 students have been placed in the supplementary category.For Class 8, 12,86,220 students appeared, with 12,45,735 clearing the examination. The overall pass percentage stands at 97.01 per cent. Girls achieved 97.57 per cent, while boys recorded 96.52 per cent. A total of 38,276 students are in the supplementary category.Grading system and qualifying criteriaThe Rajasthan Board follows a grading system for Class 8 students, categorising performance into different grade levels. A minimum of 33 per cent marks in each subject and overall is required to qualify. A grade of ‘D’ or above is considered a pass.Students placed in the supplementary category will be given an opportunity to improve their performance through re-examinations conducted by the board.Previous year trendsLast year, the overall pass percentage for Class 5 stood at around 97.30 per cent, while Class 8 recorded approximately 95.72 per cent. Over 13.3 lakh students appeared for the Class 5 examination, with more than 12.9 lakh clearing it.The board conducts these examinations across thousands of centres in Rajasthan, covering both government and private schools.
