Telangana Inter exams 2026: Parents to get hall ticket details on WhatsApp; check details here

The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE), Hyderabad, has announced a new step for the Intermediate Public Examinations 2026 to improve transparency and keep parents informed.

According to the official notice, hall tickets for the Telangana Intermediate examinations will be sent to the registered mobile numbers of parents through WhatsApp. This has been introduced so that parents and students can check all details in advance and avoid last-minute issues.

Preview of hall tickets before final download

Through this initiative, a preview of the hall ticket will be made available to students before the final download. This preview facility will help students and parents verify details such as name, photograph, group, medium, and subjects.

Intermediate First Year students can download the preview hall ticket by entering their Secondary School Certificate Roll Number and Date of Birth.

Intermediate Second Year students can download the preview hall ticket by entering their First Year Hall Ticket Number and Date of Birth.

Marks and academic details included

For Second Year students, the preview hall ticket will also include first year marks for subjects already passed, marks of failed subjects (if any), and the actual examination schedule. This will help parents clearly understand the academic status of the student.

Students advised to verify details carefully

Students and parents are advised to carefully check all details printed on the preview hall ticket. If any mistake is found, such as errors in name, photograph, group, or subjects, students should immediately contact the concerned College Principal, or the District Intermediate Education Officer (DIEO) or Nodal Officer of their respective district

This should be done well before the final hall ticket is issued.

Practical exam schedule

The board has also shared the schedule for practical examinations:

• Intermediate Practical Examinations: February 2 to February 21, 2026
• English Practical Examination (First Year students): February 18, 2026

Second Year practicals:

• February 21 to February 25, 2026 for Ethics and Human Values Examination (only for backlog students)
• February 21 to February 25, 2026 for Environmental Education Examination (only for backlog students)
