The Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EDCET) 2026 registration has started. Candidates who wish to pursue a 2-year B.Ed course in Telangana can apply online from February 23, 2026. The last date to apply without a late fee is April 15, 2026. The entrance exam will be conducted on May 12, 2026, in computer-based mode. This test is for admission to B.Ed colleges across Telangana under the supervision of Kakatiya University. Students must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria, which include a bachelor’s or master’s degree with the required minimum marks. Applicants are advised to complete their registration and payment early to avoid last-minute issues.

4. Upload documents: Upload a recent passport-size photo, signature, and other documents in the specified format.

About TS EDCET exam 2026

The TS EDCET 2026 exam will be conducted on 12 May 2026 (Tuesday) in computer-based mode. The test will be held in two shifts: the morning shift from 10 AM to 12 PM and the afternoon shift from 2 PM to 4 PM. The exam will last 2 hours and will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions. The questions will cover teaching aptitude, English, general knowledge, computer awareness, and content from the Telangana State syllabus up to Class 10.
