UBSE UK Board result 2026 to be announced on April 25: Class 10, 12 pass rates rise over 3 years, what trend shows
As the Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) prepares to declare the Class 10 and Class 12 results on April 25, a look at the past three years shows a steady improvement in student performance across both levels.
In 2025, Class 10 students recorded a pass percentage of 90.77 per cent, with 99,725 students clearing the exam out of 1,09,859 who appeared. Class 12 results also improved, with 83.23 per cent students passing. Around 88,518 students qualified out of 1,06,345 candidates, marking a strong year for the board.
In 2024, the pass percentage for Class 10 stood at 89.14 per cent, while Class 12 recorded 82.63 per cent. Over two lakh students appeared for the exams that year. The results showed a rise compared to 2023, continuing the upward trend.
In 2023, the pass percentage was lower in comparison. Class 10 recorded 85.17 per cent, while Class 12 stood at 80.98 per cent. A total of 1,27,844 students appeared for Class 10 exams, out of which 1,08,890 passed. In Class 12, 1,23,945 students appeared and 1,00,380 cleared the exam.
Gender-wise data from 2023 showed that girls performed better than boys in both classes. In Class 12, 83.49 per cent girls passed compared to 78.48 per cent boys. In Class 10, 88.94 per cent girls cleared the exam, while 81.48 per cent boys passed.
Overall, the trend from 2023 to 2025 highlights gradual improvement, with both Class 10 and Class 12 pass percentages increasing each year. Class 10, in particular, has shown a sharper rise, crossing the 90 per cent mark in 2025.
