Advanced Security Measures
Amidst concerns over academic malpractice, the UP Board (UPMSP) has introduced advanced security measures. These include the incorporation of covert QR codes, computerized logos, and a specialized colour-coding system on answer sheets. Moreover, to further enhance vigilance, the board has decided to introduce computerized identity cards with unique QR codes and serial numbers for invigilators. These initiatives aim to combat the activities of the "copying mafia" and promote fairness in board examinations across the state.

Establishment of Command and Control Centers
In a significant move towards fortifying the examination process, the UP Secondary Education Board has established Command and Control Centers (CCCs) in five regional hubs across the state. This marks the first time such comprehensive centres will be operational in Prayagraj, Varanasi, Meerut, Bareilly, and Gorakhpur. These centres will enable diligent monitoring of examination centres in districts falling under their jurisdiction, ensuring the security and integrity of the examination process.

Enhanced Monitoring and Surveillance
Additionally, the board has implemented 24-hour monitoring at examination centres through innovative technology, aiming to prevent cheating incidents effectively. The integration of IP addresses of DVRs from district examination centres under the regional offices will facilitate continuous surveillance. This setup will not only prevent question paper leaks but also ensure examination conduct devoid of any instances of copying.

Comprehensive Training for Center Superintendents
In another proactive step, the UP Board authorities have provided comprehensive training to centre superintendents to address potential issues during the exams. Master trainers selected from regional offices have imparted training to all centre superintendents, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure smooth examination conduct.

Stringent Security Measures for Question Papers
Furthermore, stringent security measures have been put in place for question papers, mirroring the protocols employed for Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) post-voting. Night vision cameras, armed police forces, and dedicated strong rooms with dual-locked cupboards ensure the security and confidentiality of question papers throughout the examination period.

Over 55 Million Students to take exams this year
The UP Board is set to conduct its class 10 and 12 examinations for the academic year across 8,264 centres spanning 75 districts. A total of approximately 55,08,206 students have registered to appear, comprising 29,47,324 high school students (15,71,686 boys and 13,75,638 girls) and 25,60,882 intermediate students (14,12,806 boys and 11,48,076 girls). Examinations will be conducted in two shifts: from 8:30 am to 11:45 am and from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm.
