Vacancies consist of 10,469 vacancies for Constable Civil Police, 15,131 vacancies for Constable PAC/Armed Police, 1,341 vacancies for Constable Special Security Force, 2,282 vacancies for Lady Constable in Women Battalion, 71 vacancies for Constable Mounted Police, and 3,385 vacancies for Jail Warder.

The written test will be conducted in the objective mode, testing the candidates through different subject questions which will help test the knowledge and reasoning ability of the candidates. According to the examination pattern, there will be 300 objective questions in the examination. The duration of the test will be two hours.

The examination will cover four major sections: General Knowledge, General Hindi, Numerical and Mental Ability, Mental Aptitude, Intelligence Quotient and Reasoning Ability. Once released, aspirants should carefully verify all details mentioned on the admit card, including their name, examination date, reporting time, examination centre, photograph, and other personal information.
