The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has started the registration process for Agriculture Technical Assistant (AGTA) Group C recruitment 2026. The recruitment drive aims to fill 2,759 vacancies in the Agriculture Department of Uttar Pradesh.
Candidates who have qualified the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 are eligible to apply for the recruitment.
A total of 2,759 vacancies have been announced under different categories:
Candidates with zero or negative normalised PET scores will not be considered for the next stage of selection.
The minimum age required is 21 years, while the maximum age limit is 40 years as of July 1, 2026. Age relaxation will be provided as per government rules.
Selected candidates will receive salary under Pay Level-4, ranging from Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100.

- Other Backward Classes (OBC): 573 posts
- Scheduled Caste (SC): 213 posts

- Have a valid PET 2025 scorecard
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related subjects from a recognised university

- Forestry
