The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has extended the registration deadline for the Joint Entrance Exam for Computer Application (JECA) 2026. Candidates who want to apply for admission to Master of Computer Application (MCA) courses in different institutions across West Bengal can now complete their registration till April 28, 2026.
Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website, which is wbjeeb.nic.in.
As per the revised schedule, the application correction window will be open from April 30 to May 1, 2026. During this period, candidates will be able to make changes to their submitted application form.
The WB JECA 2026 examination will be conducted on June 16, 2026. The exam will be held in offline mode using OMR sheets.
It will take place in a single shift from 11 am to 1 pm.
General category candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 500.
Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, third gender, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories need to pay Rs 400.
The WB JECA 2026 exam duration will be 2 hours. The paper will have 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) carrying a total of 120 marks.
