Puducherry election: Malladi Krishna Rao set to retain Yanam
CHENNAI: Congress candidate Malladi Krishna Rao is set to retain Yanam assembly constituency. He got 17,187 out of the total of around 35,000 votes polled.
Independent candidate Pemmadi Durga Prasad polled 193 votes. AIADMK candidate Manchala Satya Sai Kumar with 182 votes was pushed to the third position. BJP candidate Ramdas Kanakala polled 122 votes.
